Today we are very excited to talk to you about curb appeal, specifically, how important it is to the sale of your home.

There is probably not a single bigger factor that will affect the value of your home more than its curb appeal, or how your home looks from the curb. The best and cheapest investment you can make to improve the appeal of your home is investing in a new coat of paint. It's amazing how clean and crisp a new coat of paint can make your house look.

Next, take care of landscaping. Clean up the yard and the porch, and make sure the property is pristine. It's the first impression buyers have on your home, and you want it to be good. We can't stress curb appeal enough. You want to make sure your home looks perfect not only on the inside, but on the outside as well.

In our experience, there are four areas where repairs bring huge returns: Kitchen, bathroom, flooring, and paint. Meeting with a home staging expert should help you zero in on your best options for improvements.

In addition to this, you want to make sure your home is clean and de-cluttered, with a lot of natural light during the day.

Is Your Personality Preventing Your Home Sale?

Today's topic is an interesting one: Is your personality keeping your home from selling??

Phoenix Real Estate AgentWhen you sell your home, you want to make it show-ready, much like a model home. If your home is cluttered with personal items and photographs, it makes it harder for a potential buyer to picture them and their family living in the space. After a while, we all acquire personal "stuff" that doesn't fit with our goals in the home-showing process. Getting this stuff packed up and stored away is key, and will go a long way in helping your home sell quickly and for a good price.

A few other things you may want to consider improving inside of your home are paint and carpet. Buyers appreciate a fresh coat of paint and clean, new carpet. We aren't a huge fan of spending money if it won't return your investment, but in terms of keeping your home clean, neat, and bright, these tips will help you get more money for your home in less time.
